Nachtlauf Bremen

  When I started running in 2019, the first organised event I took part in was the night run in Bremen.  I signed up with five colleagues as a work team to run the 10k.  It was to be my first 10k and I was very nervous, the furthest I had run in the four months leading up to it was 7.5k.   On the night, the atmosphere was fantastic.  I was the slowest in the team but it didn't matter.  I finished with a good time and I enjoyed being part of a team for the first time.  It helped me build up my distances for the local relay and half-marathon races later that year. Last year, we planned to run again as a school team with even more colleagues but were scuppered by Corona.  I ran my own 10k personal best in lockdown instead.  For a long time, we discussed whether the race would take place this year and whether we would run as a team.  As it turns out, they have adjusted the run this year so that participants can take part over the space ...
